Overview

TutupKahBn does not provide user accounts and does not intentionally ask visitors for names, addresses, phone numbers, exact location, or private outage details. The service mainly processes public notice information from public sources.

This notice is a practical summary and not a full legal compliance review. Brunei Darussalam has introduced the Personal Data Protection Order 2025; commercial launch should be reviewed against applicable Brunei and international privacy requirements.

Public Notice Data

The service may collect and process public notices, public captions, public screenshots, source URLs, notice times, agencies, affected areas, and OCR text from public sources. These materials may contain errors or information originally published by third parties.

Technical Data

When you visit the site, hosting and security providers such as Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested URLs, referrer, timestamps, and security signals. This is used for hosting, security, debugging, abuse prevention, and service operation.

Advertising And Cookies

If advertising slots are enabled, Google AdSense and advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ads, fight fraud, and personalize ads where permitted. Where legally required, including for some users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, ad cookies and personalized ads may require consent through an approved consent mechanism before ads are served.

Third-Party Links

Opening a source link, map attribution link, government website, social platform, Google ad, or TD123/reporting link may take you to a third-party service. Their own privacy notices and terms apply.

Retention

OCR cache and crawler reports may be stored to avoid repeatedly processing the same public images and to keep the service operating. Failed OCR results may be cached briefly to avoid repeated failed attempts. Hosting and advertising providers may retain data under their own policies.

Your Choices

You can use browser settings to block or delete cookies, restrict third-party tracking, or disable personalized ads. Blocking cookies or third-party scripts may affect ads or some third-party services, but the public notice map should remain usable.

No Emergency Reporting

Do not submit emergencies, hazards, private details, or urgent reports through TutupKahBn. Contact the relevant authorities, utility provider, or emergency services directly.
